I just completed a new mini using Echo Park's Chillingsworth Manor Paper Line. It was so much fun to make and I always seem to gravitate toward Halloween paper. It is such a fun paper line with all it's spookiness. I love how they reference Marie Leveau, Edgar Allen Poe, and that old movie from way back when called "Something Wicked This Way Comes". Of course, I'm always loving the colors too! This mini I'm going to gift to my friend Linda, who lives in Mississippi. I worked with Linda many years when I lived down in that area, and we became close friends and keep in touch to this day. Now she'll have a cute little mini to put her Halloween Party Pics in.
This itty bitty mini was created for a swap I hosted on ScrapNDaze.ning.com. It is no bigger than 3"x3" and the cover is done in a muslin material that I had stamped then embellished. The inside pages are made of the smallest paper bag size found at local craft stores. I thought it came out super cute and wanted to share it with all of you. I used the Tim Coffey Specialty Paper...not really sure the name, but it is ocean themed and went well with my project. If you would like to see the video that includes the inside, just visit my YouTube site here:
I haven't posted in some time lately. I have recently switched from a three day work week to a five day work week. It has really taken away from my crafting and posting time. But, I'll have to make due for now.
I wanted to share with you some updates. I'm hosting an Altered Pumpkin Swap over on my ning site.
This will be a one on one partner swap. I hope to see some new faces join up for this one. Also I'm just finishing up on two other swaps and will be posting pictures and videos in the next few days on those, which will include Halloween Tags and Micro Mini Albums. I just didn't want to post just yet as it may spoil the surprise for some of the gals.
My Ning site is slowly growing and I'm really excited about it, come by and check us out. Hope all of you are having a fun scrappy day!!
