Cake Pops

I made these cake pops for Halloween last year and everyone loved them.  I used the orange flavored cake mix with cream cheese frosting and chocolate, then decorated each one.  Just thought I'd share. They were cute.  :-)

Stick Pin Swap

Stick Pin Swap May 2011

I've recently joined a Stick Pin Swap.  You are probably thinking....Why would anyone want to trade stick pins?  Well these are actually corsage pins that have been altered with the additon of beads and sometimes even charms.  Some crafter use them in other Paper Crafting projects and some just like to collect these "oh so cute pins".  First I watch a YouTube tuturial on how to do them.  Of course this is another first for me.  So, for my first pin I think I did a pretty good job.  I made a match book style holder and on the front added a flower spritzed with Glimmer Mist and then hung a tag from that with all my info in it.  Turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself.  Needless to say, now I'm hooked.  I've order oodles more of these pins in various colors, just in case.

Welcome To My New Blog

Hello Everyone.  Welcome!  This is my new blog to share my scrapbook and paper creations.  I began my journey with Scrapbooking and Paper Crafting back in December of 2010 with the purchase of the Cricut.  From there I've became obsessed. I found all kinds of wonderful things you could do with paper and have seen such beautiful work out there.  I feel like a kid in a candy store.  I want that, that and that.  I'm sure you all know just what I mean.  Any Who, I found a great bunch of talented ladies on http://www.paperphenomenon.ning/.  Now Kathy Ortha the leader of the PITA BABES, is one paper crafting extraordinaire.  Her work is absolutely wonderful!  I have joined this group and have participated thus far in an altered box swap and a tag swap.  Both were loads of fun and it was my first creations in both catagories.
